Transgenic spotted hyaenas

Digital reinterpretation from the original oil painting “Spotted hyaenas”. Hyaenas are one of my greatest naturalistic passions. The hyaena gender was known in ancient world and was one of the first animals to be represented in the cave painting of primitive man to represent the ancestral human fears.

Life is just part of a journey – and death is a picnic on its roadside.
Found in the ruins of an abandoned trainstation this broken badger-skull was completed again with a metalcast and continues its travels in a refurbished wooden casket.
